SONSA platform attended two days Civil Society and Community Members Meeting including 10 school headmasters in Banadir Region to identify and advocate for key accountability issues on Somalia Children. The two days consultation meeting organized by Somali Peace Line and Save the Children Somalia.
The meeting of civil society organizations and community consultations was intended to hold discussions and exchange ideas among participants on key issues that should be accountable to government institutions and communities at all, including violations against children, provision of services, policies and the legal framework for the protection of children’s rights.
After thorough discussion, the participants presented a plan of action aimed at accelerating the improvement of basic services should be provided by government institutions, the mechanisms, legal framework and policies to be implemented that contribute to enhancing the protection of Somali children.
